A Chinese wood and inlaid mother-of-pearl tray, Qing Dynasty, 19th century
the rectangular top inlaid with three figures before tables bearing fruit and a vessel, within a grassy landscape with trees, fruit, flowerheads, butterflies and a cloud, enclosed by a line border with scrolls to the corners, the gallery inlaid with a scene of figures in a hilly landscape with dwellings, the shaped apron inlaid with tendrils, flowerheads and a pair of butterflies, raised on four bracket feet with scroll terminals, joined by a stepped box-stretcher, minor loss to the inlays, 9,7cm high, 33cm wide, 19cm deep
