A pair of mirror image Chinese hardwood figures of Shou Xing with deer, late Qing Dynasty, late 19th century
each carved and pierced robed figure holding a peach in one hand and with a staff over his shoulder suspending a gourd, with longevity symbol carved to the robe, seated on a deer carved with star motifs, raised on a rocky outcrop, minor losses, 29cm high
