Two South East Asian brown-glazed covered bowls, 15th/16th century
in sizes, each cover surmounted by a spire finial, one decorated with scrolling foliage enclosed by line borders, the body similarly decorated, raised on a low foot, the other with alternating geometric and foliate motifs between line borders, raised on a pedestal foot, the taller 12,5cm high; a South East Asian blue-glazed covered bowl, 15th/16th century, the cover surmounted by a spire finial and painted with linework and stylised scrolling foliage, minor chips,8cm high; a South East Asian brown-and-black-glazed jarlette, 15th/16th century, the ovoid body painted with a band of flowerheads and scrolling foliage, the shoulders painted with petals, against a brown craquelure ground, raised on a low foot, 7,5cm high; and a smaller example, 15th/16th century, the ovoid body painted in blue with three rondels enclosing a flowerhead between line and dot work, the shoulders with petal motif between double blue-line borders, against a brown craquelure ground, 5,4cm high
