Critics Ratings
'A really inviting nose of crushed plum and boysenberry fruit gives way to an open-knit palate of red berry, graphite, sweet licorice and cocoa notes, with a long, mouthwatering finish.' - James Molesworth, Wine Spectator, 91/100 (Oct 2007)
'Bright ruby. Varietally expressive aromas of spicy berries, violet, smoke and chocolate; I would have picked this as a northern Rhone wine. Sweet and lush but firm, with concentrated, slowly opening flavours of black raspberry and bitter chocolate. Just a hint of game to this very primary wine. Finishes firm, sweet and long, with noble tannins. At once modern and downright sexy.' - Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, 91/100 (Mar 2007)
