Notes

Yoshitomo Nara and David Shrigley began their collaboration between 2000 and 2002, with Shrigley initially sending his drawings to Nara, who would then add text and images. This process was repeated until the work was complete. Together, they created playful images that combined their distinctive styles while seeking to generate new art through dialogue and interpretation.¹
