This Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon blend (67/33) comes from Schaapenberg's south-west and the south-facing Korhaan vineyards and it earned a Gold Medal with scores of 94 and 95 from the 2007 and 2008 Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show's respectively. It was also the 2007 Platter's Guide White Wine of the Year and Vergelegen was selected as the New-York based Wine Enthusiast's 2005 New World Winery of the Year.
