Kaapzicht is a 4th generation family-owned wine estate, located in Stellenbosch. The name Kaapzicht means ‘Cape view’ and is attributed to the beautiful views of Table Mountain and Cape Town which are seen from the farm. The Steytler family has farmed the land since 1946 and today, brothers Danie and George own the 190-hectare estate. Located on the Bottelary hill, the farm experiences a mild climate with cool sea breezes and consists of old, weathered granite soils.

First made in 2000, the Steytler Vision is Kaapzicht's Cape Blend. Their endemic Pinotage creates a uniquely South African feel while Cabernet Sauvignon exudes power, length and structure. Gentle Merlot fruit binds it all together. The aptly named Steytler Vision is the realization of Danie Snr’s innovation and craftsmanship, producing the ultimate Cape blend expressive of Bottelary.
