Notes
Joseph Hoffman was an Austrian architect who was a central figure in the evolution of modern design. He was the founder of the 'Vienna Secession' movement - a union of artists and designers who sought to break away from rigid historical precedents.
These iconic chairs were first exhibited at the 1910 Exposición Internacional del Centenario in Buenos Aires, hence the name.
