About this Item
South African
Pit-fired earthenware pot with relief patterns
signed and dated 2003
16,5cm high, 21cm diameter
Notes
Nzuza's pots seem to have been effortlessly inflated from within rather than laboriously built. To anyone familiar with hand-built pots, they are astonishing.
