About this Item
Situated in the foothills of Stellenbosch's iconic Simonsberg Mountain and with a history dating back to 1771, Warwick Wine Estate was purchased in 1902 by a Commanding Officer of the Warwickshire regiment. He renamed the farm Warwick as a tribute to his regime. Warwick's terroir offers the perfect confluence of elements to grow grapes of consistently outstanding quality. In the cellar, careful vinification yields fine wines with true varietal character and an honest expression of their origin. Warwick deeply cherishes what nature has provided and is committed to protecting and nurturing the land for generations to come. They dedicate time and passion to ensuring quality in every facet of their craft.
Warwick has been making the Trilogy for almost 40 years, without skipping a vintage! A bold new-world expression of Stellenbosch terroir that sets itself apart as being a Cabernet Franc-fronted blend of international repute.

Critics Ratings
'Trilogy comes from some of Warwick’s cooler slopes and is suitably aromatic and focused. I can’t remember tasting a better vintage of this Cabernet-based Bordeaux blend: scented, elegant and poised with notes of cassis and dried herbs and classy oak.' - Tim Atkin MW, SA Special Report 2017, 95/100
'Luscious cassis, mulberry fruit coiled around a mineral, spicy core; mouthfilling tannins from serious oaking (2+ years, 62% new) for long ageing.' - Platter’s SA Wine Guide 2018, 4.5* (91/100)
