A Japanese cloisonné enamel music box
rectangular, the hinged lid decorated with a peacock and peonies in front of a blossoming tree on a white ground, the sides decorated with scrollwork and green and blue flowers on a white ground, raised on four ogee feet, the interior engraved with bamboo and birds, the mechanism marked 'TOWA TOKYO JAPAN',minor scratches to lid, minor damage to back hinge, interior oxidised, the mechanism with one tooth of the comb missing, 5,6cm high, 17,3cm wide, 9,5cm deep
