Four Japanese cloisonné enamel vases
the first, ovoid, decorated with panels alternating ho-o birds and dragons against a pale yellow ground on a black ground, the neck and shoulder decorated with intricate floral and geometric bands featuring goldstone, the foot with a geometric border, metal interior and base, minor pitting,cracks and scratches, the shoulder bruised with chips, 17,9cm high; another, ovoid, decorated with panels inlaid with ho-o birds and dragons on a cream coloured ground, the neck and shoulder with intricate geometric and floral borders, with a small geometric border to the foot, metal interior and base, minor pitting, damage and cracking, bruised and dented 7,5x3cm, 17,6cm high; another, ovoid, decorated with panels on the body alternating two dragons on a green ground with goldstone and two ho-o birds on a cream ground, the panels set against a brown and black mottled ground, with a border of ho-o birds and flowers against an opaque brown ground, and a border with panels of dragons and shi-shi, including goldstone, the neck with a floral border, the footrim with a geometric border, metal base, minor pitting, minor chips, 12,6cm high; and another, similar, damaged, 12,5cm high
