'From 50-year-old vines planted on stony red clay soil on the ridge of a hill, facing southeast and southwest. Very pure aromas of lemon, lime, grapefruit, minerals and herbs struck me as almost riesling-like. Penetrating and minerally, with enticing spicy high notes. Quite dry and vibrant but reticent and stony, even a bit austere; this will need time to show its underlying complexity.' - Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, 90/100 (Jun 2014)
