Notes

The UP cast three of the Noitjie van die Onderveld sculptures posthumously at the Renzo Vignali Artistic Foundry, one in 1982, which was a gift to Professor Danie Malan Joubert (the present lot), one in 1984, and one in 1986 for the Van Wouw restaurant.

Thanks to Gerard de Kamper for assistance with cataloguing this lot.

Provenance

Cast posthumously at the Vignali Foundry, Pretoria.

Professor Danie Joubert collection.
