About this Item
Often described as the South African equivalent of a Grand Cru or First Growth, Kanonkop Estate is situated on the Simonsberg mountain slopes on the outskirts of Stellenbosch. Owned by the fourth generation Krige family,
Strauss & Co is proud to offer South Africa’s most iconic red wine - Kanonkop Paul Sauer - over 3 decades in two rare, large format verticals. ‘This is one of the most impressive collections of South African wine I have ever seen. Few wines are bottled regularly in large format, especially 30 years ago, making such a vertical almost unique. Not only will this provide extraordinary drinking on many occasions, but the collection also offers fine investment potential’ saysRoland Peens CEO of Wine Cellar, Strauss & Co Fine Wine Auction partners
