the hinged rectangular cover inlaid with flowering blossoms and butterflies before a rocky outcrop against a green ground, the front, back and sides enamelled with multi-coloured flowerheads and scrollwork, the gilt interior engraved with Mount Fuji, boats and dwellings, raised on four bracket feet, 5cm high, 10,7cm wide, 9cm deep
