Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier was founded in 1863 by Frédéric Mugnier’s great-great-grandfather. In 1985, Frederic – a fifth generation Mugnier – took over, and somehow managed to combine the running of the property with his job as an airline pilot. He now focuses his efforts solely on winemaking. The estate is renowned for its Chambolle-Musigny and is the second largest owner in Musigny.

‘A gorgeously perfumed and beautifully fresh array of highly spiced red and dark berry fruit aromas that are still mostly if not completely primary are trimmed in notes of plum, floral, anise and Asian-style tea scents.
