A Chinese blue and white vase, Qing Dynasty, 19th century in the Kangxi style, baluster, painted with four panels each enclosing a maiden in a balustraded garden with a young boy at play and a butterfly above, the foot and shoulder with a band of flowering blooms, foliage and fruit, the neck similarly painted, all between blue-line borders, four-character underglaze-blue mark, hairline crack to the rim, 32cm high
