In collaboration with cellar master, Luke O'Cuinneagain, this is their flagship red from the finest 2009 vintage. It is sourced from a cool east-facing slope, producing an elegant, distinguished and venerable wine, just like its owner.

'Classic cabernet naturally fermented 2011 still youthfully taut, with subtle lead pencil, dark fruit aromas; complementary oaking (100% new). Full bodied, but fine acid backbone & properly dry finish lend overall refinement. Includes a little petit verdot, merlot. Stellenbosch WO.' - Platter's SA Wine Guide, 4.5* (2016)

'85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot, 5% Merlot. Matured for 24 months in French oak, 100% new. Cassis, violets, some leafiness and pencil shavings. Quite lean with fresh acidity and fine, powdery tannins, the finish very dry.
