A Victorian pair of silver salts, George John Richards, London, 1852
each cauldron shaped, with gadrooned rim, the body with a floral band enclosing a cartouche engraved with the crest of a boar, raised on three shell-headed cabriole legs with hoof feet, marks slightly worn, 125g all in, 4,5cm high
