the centre set with a onyx shaped shield centred with a glazed hair locket, the shank enamelled in black with Gothic letters IN MEMORY, size N; and another enamel and gold Memento Mori ring, marks worn, maker's initials I.V, possibly 1827, enamelled in high relief with black Gothic letters IN MEMORY OF between foliate borders against a matt textured ground, size P

Gross mass: 3.5g - A late George IV/early Victorian onyx, enamel and 18ct gold Memento Mori ring

There is a repair to the shank measuring approximately 0.40mm

The enamel is worn is small areas around the letters. The shank is thinning

 

Enamel and gold Memento Mori ring, marks worn, maker's initials I.V, possibly 1827- gross mass: 5.5g

The hall marks are worn, possibly stamped 18

The black enamel is worn in the area of the borders and letters
