A Cape stinkwood and ebony armoire, second half 18th century
the moulded arched cornice centred by a carved cherub cresting above a pair of panelled doors enclosing shelves and drawers, with three long graduated drawers below, on turned bun feet, fitted with Cape silver handles and escutcheon plates, maker's initals AHA, 247cm high, 184cm wide, 72,5cm deep
