Notes
Alvar Aalto (1898- 1976 ) was a renowned Finnish architect and designer who mastered both form and function. As a designer, he is celebrated as a forerunner of mid-century modernism and his invention of bent plywood furniture had a profound influence on Charles and Ray Eames.
This pair of armchairs is a rare early and original edition from the first three years of production.
