A Persian walrus ivory hilted Jambiya, 19th century
the curved double-edged blade decorated to the forte with gilt inlaid script, the scabbard with flattened brass fittings with stylised birds and worn red velvet section, the blade 26cm long; and a Persian silver-mounted Jambiya, early 20th century, with curved double-edged bade, the hilt embossed with birds and flowerheads, the scabbard embossed with a seated figure, deer, lion and a peacock, the sides applied with loop fittings, lacking tip of scabbard, the blade 18,5cm long
