A French ivory plaque, 19th century

carved with a courting couple descending a flight of stairs flanked by fruiting vines, chips, 10cm high, 9cm wide, set against a later black velvet backing with hook attachment, 11cm high, 10,3cm wide; a Dieppe ivory figure of a cavalier, 19th century, imbibing, raised on a cylindrical socle, the base engraved nr. 23, 16cm high; and an ivory figure of Bacchus, late 19th/early 20th century, modelled standing with a goblet in his right hand, the other resting on a stump, raised on a circular ebonised base, minor chip to goblet, 11cm high
