About this Item
A pair of Chinese champlevé enamelled brass lanterns, late 19th century
each pagoda-shaped top with bells suspended from the corners, surmounted by a flaming pearl finial, the lamp holders pierced with phoenixes amongst clouds, on a turned, knopped support decorated with a three-clawed dragon amongst clouds and various blooms, on a stepped plinth base, fitted for electricity,122cm high, with loose octagonal ebonised bases
