A George IV silver hot water jug, Benjamin Smith III, London, 1826 the compressed bulbous body moulded with a band of foliage and flowerheads, with a moulded floral lip, the hinged cover with bud-and-leaf finial, the side applied with an ebonised leaf-capped c-scroll handle with moulded leaf terminals, raised on a stepped circular footrim moulded with a further band of flowerheads and foliage to a hammered ground, 22,5cm high, 660g
