About this Item
Tête de Cuveé Pinot Noir 2003
3 (1 x 3) 750ml
Bouchard Finlayson was established in 1989 as a creative partnership between Paul Bouchard from the influential Bouchard family of Burgundy and Peter Finlayson who made the early ground-breaking vintages of Hamilton Russell Vineyards. Today the estate is collaboratively run by Peter and owners, the Tollman family of Red Carnation international hotel group.
The Tête de Cuvée was launched in 1997 as a reserve selection of the top barrels of the vintage. The 2003 vintage offered ideal conditions with late ripening, resulting in one of the standout modern Cape vintages for reds. 12 barrels produced.

Critics Ratings
'Cellarmaster's barrel selection in best years makes a comeback with the terrific 2003. Waxy layers of subtle aromas lead to pervasive, enduring grip & substance, sensual tannic tail.' - Platter's SA Wine Guide 2007, 5*
