The work Game Piece 2 is comprised of a selection of woods – meranti (both dark and light from Shorea spp.) for the ’table top’ and one of the table legs, imbuia, Rhodesian teak (Baikiaea plurijuga) for the two square counters on the table surface and yellowwood (Podocarpus spp.) for the two playing-card-like forms piercing the table top (playing surface). Pieces of ordinary wooden dowel rod have also been used.
