A Victorian silver-gilt mounted glass hip flask, Mappin & Webb, London, 1897
the faceted glass body with detachable silver-gilt cover, applied with faceted silver-gilt hinged cover, stamped 'Mappin & Webb London', lacking stopper, hinged damaged, chips to glass, 12,5cm high; and an Edward VII silver trinket box, RH Halford & Sons, London, 1901, the hinged cover centred by a vacant cartouche enclosed by a moulded foliate border, the inside cover engraved Vintners' Company May 21st 1902, the front and back embossed with a pair of swans on a lake, each side embossed with a coronet, on four bracket feet, the base stamped 'R. H. HALFORD & SONS, 43 FENCHURCH ST, E. C.', dents, 8,7cm wide, 140g
