'The 2006 Vitovska Selezione impresses for its substantial core of fruit and body. White stone fruit, flowers, and crushed rocks wrap around the palate in this structured, powerful Vitovska. Layers of fruit continue to build in the glass as the wine shows off its expansive, generous personality. This is another dazzling, hugely expressive wine from Edi Kante with more than enough freshness to drink well for many years. 'Very slightly honeyed, some linden leaf, lime and spice and still that rocky/mineral quality derived indirectly from the site (terra rossa over very hard limestone in Carso). Long and intense.
