A Chinese carved bamboo brushpot, bitong, 19th/20th century
oval, the body carved with two figures on horseback riding towards three figures playing gu with three attendants observing and a small boy proffering tea, all amongst pine trees within a mountainous landscape, with flared rounded rim, the conforming base incorporating three feet, with inscription, 17,8cm high
