A Japanese blue and white Imari bowl, Meiji period (1868-1912) the centre painted with a roundel of a rocky landscape within a double blue-line border, enclosed by later sprays of carnations and chrysanthemums in shades of iron-red, green with gilt highlights, the reverse with two medallions similarly decorated enclosed by further sprays of flowers, the foot with cell diaper border, firing fault, 15,5cm diameter; and a Japanese Imari saucer dish, 19th century, the centre painted with a stylised flower enclosed by alternating radiating panels of rocky outcrops, trees, stylised bird and foliate motifs, the reverse loosely decorated with scroll motifs, restored, 12cm diameter (2)
