Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier was founded in 1863 by Frédéric Mugnier’s great-great-grandfather. In 1985, Frederic – a fifth generation Mugnier – took over, and somehow managed to combine the running of the property with his job as an airline pilot. He now focuses his efforts solely on winemaking. The estate is renowned for its Chambolle-Musigny and is the second largest owner in Musigny.

Critics Ratings

‘A deeply colored wine that reveals flavors of raspberries and firm wood. It is broad and rich, with dark tannins, leaving a clean, fresh, poised taste of acidity and sweet fruits.
