An Antwerp rosewood, ebonised, painted and ivory cabinet, 17th century
the rectangular three panelled hinged top enclosing three panelled mirrors, concave sides, above a pair of cushion-panelled doors set with rosewood panels, the reverse with four rectangular rosewood panels, enclosing an arrangement of seven drawers, each set with a painted mythological panel, flanking an arched pen and ink ivory panel, flanked by a pair of columns and enclosing a mirrored interior with chequerboard floor, a plain drawer above and a long drawer below, with a frieze drawer, the conforming sides applied with iron carrying handles, on an associated stand, minor loss, the cabinet 74,5cm high, 84cm wide, 41,5cm deep
