Edwardian mother-of-pearl, emerald and diamond brooch

the oval mother-of-pearl plaque carved with the profile of a young woman surrounded by alternating millegrain-set cabochon-cut emeralds and single-cut diamonds highlighted by two round brilliant-cut diamonds, later brooch fitting, length approximately 45mm

Notes

Gross mass: 13.5g CPM states that the metal is 13.973 white gold

The two round brilliant-cut diamonds weigh approximately 0.20ct and appear to be G-H in colour and VS in clarity

The single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.48ct appear to be G-H in colour and SI in clarity

The cabochon-cut emeralds weigh approximately 0.56ct

The frame unmarked

There is residue of glue on the reverse of the mother-of-pearl plaque. 

There are two additional links on the reverse of the frame.
