Critics Ratings
'Nose is typical of wines from the 80's, slightly sweeter and riper. Time in the glass brings about sour cherry and cranberry notes with mushroom development at the back. The palate has a sweet entry, but is well balanced by a surprising freshness for a 35 year-old wine. Bouncy mouthfeel is supported by more rustic tannins. Not to keep for much longer.' - James Pietersen, Wine Cellar Feb 2020, 90/100
