Rijks Wine is an award-winning family owned estate situated in the picturesque Tulbagh valley, specialising in Chenin Blanc and Pinotage. The farm produces unique older vintage wine from low yielding shale soils that has satisfied wine enthusiasts from around the world.
The Special Reserve selection comes from 15 of the finest barrels, seeking Elegance, finesse, complexity and concentration of fruit in a full- bodied style.

'Dominated by bush vine fruit (albeit irrigated in the hothouse conditions of Tulbagh) and aged in 60% new oak, this is another dense, plush, deeply coloured Pinotage from Pierre Wahl, with firmish tannins, a hint of acetone, some spice and bags of bramble and blueberry fruit.
