Fragments: An Art Class

Join, Strauss & Co’s Art Education Specialist, Jo Voysey, for an art class that draws on Surrealist approaches to art-making. By cutting, rearranging and combining different images, textures and found materials, participants will explore new ways of creating meaning and narrative.

The class encourages experimentation, curiosity and a willingness to work with the unexpected. Through a process of discovery and chance connections, seemingly unrelated elements come together to form something new. Arrive ready to explore, and to let the process guide you.

No previous art experience needed and art materials will be provided
