circular, the centre painted with a bird of paradise enclosed by blossoms, the reverse with three sprays of blossoms and double blue-line border, underglaze-blue character mark, 22cm diameter; a Japanese blue and white tea bowl and cover, modern, painted with three rondels of stylised characters enclosed by flowerheads and scrolling motifs, the cover similarly decorated, hairline cracks, 7,5cm high; and six Japanese blue and white tea bowls, variously decorated with small boys at play, medallions of landscapes and figures, against foliate grounds, hairline cracks, two examples transfer printed, the tallest 7cm high
