A Japanese Satsuma tea service, early 20th century each painted with scenes of bijin dressed in seasonal attire beneath peonies, wisteria, bamboo, blossoms and maple leaves, enclosed by a black and gilt zigzag border, comprising; a teapot, a covered milk jug, a covered two-handled sugar bowl, slop bowl, six teacups and six saucers, six tea plates, some repairs and restorations, gilt and black seal mark, stamped MADE IN JAPAN, the teapot 15,5cm high (22)
