of pierced rococo outline, the central section with covered quill compartment and a pair of covered inkwells, painted with 'dishevelled' birds within turquoise and gilt borders, restoration to finials, pseudo Chelsea gold anchor mark, 29cm wide over handles; and a pair of Continental vases, late 19th century, each flared body painted with a spray of roses enclosed by sprigged flowerheads, with leaf-shaped handles, raised on a shaped domed foot, gilt highlights, restorations and chips, 18cm high
