This evocative piece uses the ancient game of chess as a metaphor to explore what would happen to animals if humans were wiped out, and how domesticated animals would fare without human assistance. The use of rabbits as anthropomorphized representations of domesticated animals adds a poignant touch, while the reimagined chess pieces and board create a visually striking image.
