Wedged between the Stellenbosch and Helderberg mountains, situated on the beautiful Mont Fleur farm, is the boutique De Trafford winery. The Trafford family purchased the land in 1976 and a small vineyard was in place by 1983.
Their powerful and long-aging Cabernet Sauvignon has a become cult ever since their first 1992 vintage. Known for their rich and powerful reds, the majestic 2003 vintage experienced a late warm and dry summer resulting in a perfect ripening. De Trafford wines are renowned for their incredible aging potential.
