Named after Johan Rupert’s late brother, Anthonij Rupert is situated in the shadow of the mountain at the stunning 18th-century L’Ormarins Franschhoek estate.

Critics Ratings

‘Dense and layered, with lots of roasted fig, blackberry pâte de fruit and plum sauce flavors that stay defined thanks to lively ganache, espresso and anise notes throughout. The finish is very fleshy, but has lovely mouthfeel, with really polished structure sailing through. 660 cases made.’  Wine Spectator, 93/100
