Back Story: 29th of July walking my dogs along the coast I found the first sign of Covid-19 wash up onto the sea shore. I hate to think that this might become a norm. The amount of rubbish washing up on this beach has gone down since there are no holiday makers around.

This image was submitted to Stilled Life, a community photographic platform launched to give South Africans a place to share their Covid-19 stories, and has been selected as one of the top 100 images that will be on view at the 2020 RMB Turbine Art Fair. The proceeds of the sale of this lot will benefit the BASA Artists Relief Fund.
