each enamelled with cockerels and small birds before a balustrade, a rocky outcrop with a flowering peony branch suspending a bird cage, with further scholar's emblems, the rim similarly decorated with panels of Buddhist emblems, one with a star crack, underglaze-blue double-ring mark centred by a flowerhead,21,5cm diameter
