each carved in the form of a boot, one applied with brass piqué-work and sliding cover with the initials 'JR', 10cm long; the other with brass piqué-work swags and patterns, with hinged brass cover, 7,8cm long; and an example in the form of a pair of horn shoes, with brass piqué-work and hinged cover, 9cm long
