About this Item

A French silver and enamelled porcelain pendant, late 18th/early 19th century
set to the centre with an oval plaque painted with a pair of cherubs and inscribed 'AMOUR SANS PITIE', enclosed by eight 'jewelled' medallions, to a silver filigree foliate mount, one 'jewelled' medallion lacking, 8,5cm wide; to a later cloth and board mount; and an enamelled plaque, 19th century, oval, painted with a Muse and winged cherub, enclosed by a foliate mount, chips and hairline crack, 4,5cm long
