'The 2011 Blueprint Shiraz comes from two parcels of vine of 11- and 15-year-old vines picked between February 18 and March 2, raised in 50% fine-grained new French oak for 22 months. It has a crisp, blackberry and blueberry-scented nose, the floral component more inhibited than the 2010. The palate is nicely structured with good presence: a gentle grip with blackberry, melted tar and tobacco towards the spicy finish. There is a sense of abiding harmony and class here.' Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, 91/100 (Oct 2014)
'Bright, full ruby. Blueberry, tobacco, mocha, milk chocolate and graphite minerality on the sexy, inviting nose. Wonderfully plush and sweet but with a lighter touch, refined but plenty ripe. Finishes with firm but very suave tannins and sneaky length.' - Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, 92/100 (June 2015)
